The government has suspended foreign travel for its ministers and assistants ministers in a bid to marshal support for the proposed constitution. In a move aimed at whipping its support for the proposed constitution, ministers have also called on the speaker Kenneth Marende to extend the edict to legislators to tether them into the debate. The draft constitution is expected to be debated in parliament this week.
