Abortion remains the one thorny issue that threatens to derail the constitution review process. Opinion leaders on both sides of debate passionately hold onto their convictions. An attempt by the parliamentary select committee on constitution and subsequently the committee of experts to appease these two sides appears to have landed the constitution making process in more controversy. So, will there be a way forward in this debate, and hopefully a new constitution?
