The voices of ordinary Kenyans who were victims of the post election violence may be heard in the international criminal court after all. A letter from the Icc to justice minister Mutula Kilonzo indicates that Icc chief prosecutor Louis Moreno Ocampo will be issuing a 30 day notice for victims to testify at the Icc pre trial chamber next Friday. He will also be presenting the evidence that he has gathered so far to the three judge trial chamber which will then decide whether or not Ocampo should proceed with the prosecution of the suspected masterminds of the post election violence. At least 1500 were killed and close to 600, 000 others displaced in the post election violence.
